Sean Sasaki 

University of Washington School of Music, Bachelor of Music (Violin and Music Education, In Process)

Sean Sasaki began playing the violin at the age of 11 and is currently studying under Rachel Lee Priday, a professor at the University of Washington School of Music. Over his 11 years of playing, Sean has distinguished himself through both his teaching experience and his exceptional talent. He has participated in numerous music festivals, including the Pacific Crest Music Festival and Rocky Ridge College Intensive, where he performed solo pieces and chamber music.


Sean's orchestral experience includes performing with the University of Washington Symphony Orchestra, showcasing his versatility and dedication. He has received several accolades, such as the National Orchestral Award, the UW School of Music Scholarship Award, and has participated in the WMEA All-State Symphony Orchestra.


Sean has also benefited from masterclasses with renowned musicians like Chen Zhao from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Brian Lewis from the University of Texas, and Catherine Cosbey of the Cavani Quartet. In addition to his musical pursuits, Sean enjoys shopping, watching movies, and spending time with friends.
