CMariia, born in Kyiv, Ukraine, began playing the violin at the age of 5. At 12, she moved to Russia after being accepted into the Academic Music College at the Moscow State Conservatory, where she studied under Professor Marina Keselman. After successfully graduating in 2018, Mariia continued her musical education at the Classical Academy of the Russian State University in the class of Professor Evgeni Levin, earning a Master of Arts in Violin Performance and Music Education.


Mariia has performed extensively in prestigious concert halls across Russia, including the Kremlin Palace, the Bolshoi Theatre, the Moscow International House of Music, the Helicon Opera, and the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, among others. She has participated in various festivals and television projects alongside renowned celebrities such as Nikolai Baskov, Larisa Dolina, Edwin Marton, etc. Mariia has played in opera, symphony, pop, and rock ensembles, as well as chamber music groups. She has also performed in orchestras with famous conductors including Vladimir Ponkin, Anatoli Levin, and Teodor Currentzis. Mariia participated in the New Russian Seasons educational program by TAVRIDA ARTS, led by Yuri Bashmet, and was a member of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Volga Region.


As a dedicated educator, Mariia served as a violin teacher at a music school in Moscow and has over six years of experience as a private violin tutor, having taught more than 25 students in Russia and continuing this work in the Seattle area. Fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian, Mariia provides instruction in all three languages, catering to a diverse student base from beginners to advanced levels.


Mariia has also engaged in long-term research on methods of studying Paganini caprices, which she presented at international scientific conferences, showcasing her commitment to both performance and academic excellence.


In her free time, Mariia enjoys learning new languages, traveling across the country, exploring recent scientific discoveries, and reading detective stories.
